S-League was Singapore’s domestic soccer league at the time, and the match I was attending here was Tampines Rovers FC vs Home United FC on Apr 25 1998, at 7:30 pm in Tampines Stadium. Apparently, from various sources around the Internet, Tampines lost 4-0 that evening.
I likely went to this match with Geeyong, my best friend at the time. We both lived in Tampines, and so the Stags, the nickname for the Tampines Rovers, were our home team.
